Our Story

Every Veteran Heard Foundation is a tax-deductible 501(c)(3) nonprofit created to give Veterans something many have waited a lifetime to hear:

You are seen. You are valued. You are remembered.

Founded by Toni Jean and her husband, Victor Munoz—a proud United States Marine Corps Veteran—the foundation began with a simple but powerful idea: create a space where Veterans feel truly honored, heard, and respected.

Where It All Began

In 2021, we hosted our very first event—a small social gathering for Veterans and their families.

We invited each Veteran to bring a military photo so we could proudly display and honor their service. We also included a POW/MIA table, ensuring that those who never made it home were never forgotten.

That first event welcomed about 35 guests, including 9 Veterans, along with family members representing loved ones who could not be there or had passed on. Each Veteran had the opportunity to speak—or have their story shared on their behalf.

This was something Victor created from his heart. He wanted this for his fellow Veterans, and it became a shared mission between us. What started as his passion to support his brothers and sisters in arms became a vision we now carry forward together.

A Moment That Changed Everything

One Veteran left a lasting impression on us that first night. He arrived saying he was only there to support his fellow brothers and didn’t need a handout.

We gently explained that this wasn’t charity—it was about honoring service.

When he saw the POW/MIA table, something shifted. He told us he would stay because of it—because that table represented what this should always be about: never forgetting those who served and those who never came home.

That night, he was the last to leave—and he has returned to every event since 2021.

In that moment, we knew:

This was more than an event.
It was a mission.

Voices Of Pride And Service

This is not your average “thank you for your service” event.

At Every Veteran Heard Foundation, every Veteran has a voice.

Each Veteran stands and shares their name, branch, rank, and years of service. These moments are powerful, emotional, and deeply human—creating an atmosphere where stories are truly heard, connections are formed, and respect is felt throughout the room.

We don’t just honor service.
We listen.
We remember.

What We Create

We create unforgettable experiences where Veterans come together in a space filled with respect, connection, and gratitude—where their stories are honored, their service is recognized, and their sacrifices are never forgotten.

For many Veterans, being truly seen and heard does not happen often.

Your Support Makes This Possible

When you support Every Veteran Heard Foundation, you are not simply donating.

You are creating a moment a Veteran may carry with them for the rest of their life.

You are helping ensure that every Veteran who walks into our space leaves knowing:

Their service mattered.
And it still does.
